Microsoft Forms or Powerapps?

Hi all,

Newbie here.  I wanted to create a docket like page to record weights of trucks transporting grain etc.

There would be particulars like Date/Time (automated), Truck Registration No, Gross Weight, Tare Weight, Nett Weight, Commodity etc..  Some fields will be a selection from a drop down with others manually typing in information.

I'd like this information to flow to a table in excel or some other Microsoft platform.  Then I could create a flow that will send me the "Daily Totals" via email etc.

So, where should I build this Weighbridge Docket?  Forms, powerapps or another suggestion??

Thanks for your time

SD

I think that both work for you, since you only want to fill a form and submit it.

If you want to show data you need to use Power Apps

After that, if you you use Forms, you need to export the answers to an excel table or other type of DataSource and that way you can use that data source on the flow.

Or, you can create that datasource and use that datasource directly in Power Apps.

I think that both solutions work but MS Forms would give you a litle bit more of work.
