Hi,

  I am experimenting with power apps and created my first app using microsoft translator based off article microsoft-translator. The app runs fine and works as expected in studio and web.Now I am trying to get this app pinned as a web content tile in a power BI dashboard. The web link gives an error "The service returned an error: MicrosoftTranslator!TextToSpeech: The method 'TextToSpeech' has an invalid value for parameter 'query'.

What am I missing here?

I am also facing the same problem when writing apps for my customer using MS Translator.

Same error.

However, I suspected of this:

Note: This connector is limited to 150 calls per user per day.

@cherieWould you please clarify "calls" definition?

I used (sign-up) for MS Translator when i was using Project Siena and even after 3 years, it still work perfectly but recently stopped working.

I sigh-up with Microsoft Azure MarketPlace with Client ID.

Wish to know the reasons behind, too.

   That's interesting. However for me, it is happening for the very first call for the day too.

@KalpanaW, this happens if your source input is blank. You can fix this by doing something like this

If(IsBlank(Source.Text), "Please enter some text", MicrosoftTranslator.Translate(Source.Text, TargetLang.Selected.Value))

You should also notice that if you enter some text into your text box the error goes away.

@cherie : That worked, Thanks. However, I do have some default text set to source input using "Default" property of the textbox already. Looks like this default value is not being passed to Translate method when the screen loads.
