I recently migrated data from an excel spreadsheet into the Common Data Service feature for one of my Apps, and now I can't seem to add or edit rows within the database.
Everything looks fine as had updated all the connections etc. But the SubmitForms don't seem to work. At first, I thought it would be because I'm not refreshing the data or something but that didn't seem to affect it at all. When I imported the excel sheet into CDS I optioned to manually refresh the data. Could this be a reason? If so, how can I change it?

Which database can't you save add or edit rows? CDS or Excel?
Is there any error message when you submit the form?
I made a test on my side to add a new record to CDS entity imported from Excel, and it worked well.
Please make sure all required field is included in the form.
As an alternative workaround, please try with Patch function to create the records. Put the following code to SubmitButton.OnSelect:
Patch('Entity name', Defaults('Entity name'), FormName.Updates)

Thanks for the reply, it took me a while to figure out the issue. I couldn't save CDS after I migrated the data from a OneDrive excel sheet. What I had to do was delete the forms, reinsert them and also reconnect the data sources. I have a feeling that simply changing the data source for a form doesn't change the path as it felt like it was still trying to use the old OneDrive source path. It didn't come up with any errors which I found odd.
