I have built an app which connects to a Sharepoint Online list. 95% of the time the app correctly populates all the field values and loads them into a sharepoint row when submitting.
Every now and again, it appears 2 field values can sometimes be omitted and don't appear correctly in the sharepoint list item. They appear blank when viewing the data after the item has been created.
Had a similar issue previously, however with further investigation to my coding, i figured out that a couple of my buttons do actually miss those fields.
So as long as your data appear in these fields, i am assuming its not a system issue. it could be an oversight in the coding.
What are the column types of the two fields that appear blank?
How is your app configured?
