Hi all,
I've created a Model Driven PowerApp using some custom entities. I want to trigger a series of instant flows however these don't appear against the record. All I see is "Create a flow" and "See your flows".
I've tried the following:
- Createing a flow using the options available.
- Create a flow in Power Automate and using the "When record is selected trigger"
- Attaching the flow to the solution prior to importing into testing environment.
In all cases, the flow doesn't appear in this list.
Any help would be much appreciated. In terms of versions, I'm running on the latest db version etc.
Thanks,
J
Hi @opticshrew2 ,
Firstly, I am a Canvas app user, so the below may not be totally accurate, but if you want a Flow to appear in your PowerApps list, the trigger has to be Instant > PowerApps.
Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
Hi @WarrenBelz ,
With Canvas Apps yes that works however in Model Driven apps it needs to use Common Data Service instead. I imagine the back end works in a similar way to previous Dynamics Workflows just re-branded.
Thanks anyway,
J
Last week I created the instant flow (Friday) and now, after waiting the weekend it appears. There appears to be a substantial delay between creating the flow and for it to arrive in the Model Driven app.
Does anyone know a method of forcing this sync/attach/magic?
Thanks,
J
