My Model-Driven App has a Quotes entity and Quote Details entity with a 1-to-Many relationship. How do I create a view of Quotes that includes columns from the Quote Details entity? I need the ability to filter (via column heading) records based on a field in the Quote Details entity.
I could base the view on Quote Details and add columns from Quotes but then +New button wants to add a new Quote Details record (his makes no sense without a Quote). Is there a way to make the +New button to create a new Quote instead of a Quote Detail?
HI @Eric206,
Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?
Do you want to click the "New" button within the Quote Detail view to add a new Quote record instead of Quote Detail record?
I have made a test on my side, if you want to click the "New" button within the Quote Detail view to add a new Quote record instead of Quote Detail record, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs.
