Model-driven app - custom button - strange behaviour

Hi,

I've created a simple page in a Model-driven app to provide the customer with an easy way to upload a list of customers (VAT numbers), which is used to give discounts.

Once a year a new Excel list is received that needs to replace the above mentioned list.

Because I don't want to point the (non technical) customer to bulk deletion jobs, I've created a custom button with a PowerFx statement which deletes all records:

If(
    Confirm(
        "This action will clear the discount list." & Char(10& "Customers will not be removed, but their discount flag will be set to false." & Char(10& Char(10& "Are you sure you want to continue?",
        {Title: "Delete Confirmation"}
    ),
    Remove(
        'Discount Customers',
        'Discount Customers',
        All
    );
    Refresh('Discount Customers')
);

I have 2 behavioral issues:

  1. I don't get any loading indication/feedback while the statement is being executed
  2. The list (+/- 2000 records) is only partially cleared (e.g. only 300 records are removed)

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Update:

I've attached a monitor to the app to try understand what's happening.

Basically the remove...all statement sends a delete statement to the api for every individual record.

Because of the number of records, this results in "Too Many Requests" errors:

In my opinion this is a serious bug in the platform 😞
