Move text to another textbox

Hi!

I am currently making an app wich would act as a customer screen for a small restaurant where the customers should see when their food is done. I would like to press a button to get the number in the left field (which is processing order) to the right field wich tells the customer that their food is done.

As you can see in the picture below i have managed to make it partly with a reset button to every column, but i would like to take it one step furter...

To clear things up... i would like to transfer the number in textbox1 to textbox2 with a click of a button

Textbox1-----button------Textbox2

Thanks!

Hey Malle,

The simplest way I can think of would need a checkbox instead of a button. On both your textbox's you would display the value based on whether it is checked so;

Textbox1.Value                                                   CheckBox1                            Textbox2.Value

If(CheckBox1.Value, "", "450")                                                                          If(CheckBox1.Value, "450", "")

You can replace "450" with whatever datasource value you are using.

Someone else might be able to propose a more elegant solution...

Dan 🙂
