Hello PowerApps Community,
I am building a couple apps for my company and attempting to make three to four combo boxes dependent (not to be confused with cascading) is quite involved. I have scoured the community with others referencing a similar issue but still not able to produce a fruitful result after some time.
Issue specs: I have a data table with the source coming from SQL, and I have four searchable multi select combo boxes that are filtering the table. But, with the combo boxes not being dependent, more than likely a user will try to filter on something that is not present and they will have to reset the filters and start filtering again. Not the worst thing in the world but I do not want to call it quits and have a so-so UX.
*Any suggestions on how to accomplish or any ideas on how to rework the UI would be much appreciated
**Any other information desired about the App/Controls, please let me know and I will fill in the details and/or provide pictures
Thank you 🙇♂️

So you are facing the issue of having the user potentially choose search criteria for which there will be no results??
If that is the case, then there is not a lot you can do to keep that from happening in your design, but you can at least alert them when nothing is found.
But, I am not sure from your post what you might think would be a better approach. Did you have something in mind?
For example, if a user selects a value in combobox1, combobox2, 3 and 4 will have their criteria filtered. If a user selects a value in combobox 4, combobox 1, 2 and 3 will have their criteria filtered, so on and so forth.
I played around with changing the UI a bit but was not sure if others had an idea/thought.
