Multi Select Field & populating another field

Hi Folks,

I have a multi-select field in my PowerApps application (SP is the source). The ComboBox displays a list of Descriptions for a collection of data elements. In the past, this field was just a single select so then I had another field I dynamically populated using a LookUp to return the unique ID based on the description selected.

However,  this get a tricky with the multi-select.  For instance, if a user select "Desc1" and "Desc2" I want me other field to populate with "123" and "456".

Here is the table layout.

Is that possible? Both fields should be comma delimited (if more than 1 is selected).

Thank you!

Hi @simms7400

Can you please confirm if you are passing the values using the canvas app or if this is a calculated field, which automatically calculates the data based on input in first field.

If this is done through the powerapps, you can update the config as:

Edit Form -> Update property of second datacard: Concat(Filter(SPListName, Desc in Combobox1.SelectedItems.Desc),ID,",")

Individual Controls -> Patch formula -> Patch(SPListName,Defaults(SPListName),{Title:"ABCD",FieldName: Concat(Filter(SPListName, Desc in Combobox1.SelectedItems.Desc),ID,",")})

Hope this Helps!
