Multi-column option set columns are empty in raw JSON output

I have been struggling with a Flow which for some reason is not straightforward.

The Flow is

  • Add a Row into a Dynamics table
  • Determine if a specific Multi-select option in a column has been added: lets say I am looking to see if Apple has been selected in an array/collection of fruit
  • If Yes then add a Row into another Table

What I am finding when debugging the Flow is that in the "When a row is added, modified, or deleted" the raw JSON output includes every column with data values except all the Multi-select option set columns. The Multi-select option set columns do not display in the raw JSON. All the single value columns display.

So my next steps where I try to capture and test for the specific column value always fails because it is always null.

How can I capture the column values for Multi-select option sets?

Hi @faisalje

Try using the "Get a row by ID" action, I was able to see the Multi-select option set values in that action.

Yes, I had to use Get by ID, then convert the multi-select option set field into an array and loop through this using Apply each.
