Hi, one of my canvas apps retrieves data from multiple levels relationship using the Datavers database.
E.g. I have a ticket with a lookup to a contact.
On the contact record there is a lookup to another contact, like the persons manager.
My app is currently able to get the phone number of the manager to show with a ticket.
Very simple like ThisItem.Contact.Manager.Phone.
This app runs fine. I published it almost a year ago, October 2020 and it's is based on Power Apps release 3.20103.28.
Now, when I start to edit the app I get the error "Multiple levels of one-to-many relationships aren't supported".
I have to change the syntax and start using multiple lookups to get the same result as a year ago.
Tried several things, but I don't get it working anymore.
I don't get it.
Why would one (Microsoft I guess) remove functionality of a connector (current version 3.21085.24)?
And second, how is it even possible the current app still runs fine, as long as I don't edit it?
Can this be explained?
Kind regards,
Maurits
