Navigate to a specific screen based on multiple selections (conditions)

Hi again,

I have a screen (ScreenEmployeeDetails) that displays a column chart with an employee's work hours for a specific month. You can select the employee from a drop-down list (DropdownEmployee) and select the month in a gallery on the left (GalleryMonth). I also have a screen for each month (ScreenJuly17, ScreenAugust17, ScreenSeptember17, etc.) with a data table for each month (I could not figure out how to display a different data table on one screen based on what you select in a drop-down list (DropdownMonth).

On the ScreenEmployeeDetails screen, I have a button (ButtonMonthData) that should navigate to a specific screen based on the selected month (MonthYear=GalleryMonth.Selected.MonthYear), however, I can't seem to get this to work.

For example, if you select 'July17' in the gallery and you press the 'ButtonMonthData' button, it should navigate to ScreenJuly17.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @v-xida-msft,

Your solution almost worked - I had to change

GalleryMonth.Selected.Value

to

GalleryMonth.Selected.MonthYear

 since it did not accept .Value

Now it works great! Thank you for your assistance!

Re: Navigate to a specific screen based on multiple selections (conditions)

Hi @Samurai89,

Do you add one screen for each month within the GalleryMonth?

Do you want to navigate to corresponding screen based on the selected month in the GalleryMonth?

I have made a test on my side, I think the If function could achieve your needs, please take a try with the following workaround:3.JPG

4.JPG

Set the TemplateFill proeprty of the GalleryMonth to following:

If(ThisItem.IsSelected, RGBA( 255, 105, 180, 1 ), RGBA(0,0,0,0))

Set the OnSelect proeprty of the "ButtonMonthData" button to following:

If(
    GalleryMonth.Selected.Value = "July17",
    Navigate(ScreenJuly17,ScreenTransition.Fade),
    GalleryMonth.Selected.Value = "August17",
    Navigate(ScreenAugust17, ScreenTransition.Fade),
    GalleryMonth.Selected.Value = "September17",
    Navigate(ScreenSeptember17,ScreenTransition.Fade)
)

On your side, you should type:

If(
    GalleryMonth.Selected.Value = "July17",
    Navigate(ScreenJuly17, ScreenTransition.Fade),
    GalleryMonth.Selected.Value = "August17",
    Navigate(ScreenAugust17, ScreenTransition.Fade),
    GalleryMonth.Selected.Value = "September17",
    Navigate(ScreenSeptember17, ScreenTransition.Fade),
GalleryMonth.Selected.Value = "October17",
Navigate(ScreenOctober17, ScreenTransition.Fade),
...
)
