Hello All,
I am looking to see if you can advice on the potential solution to my issue.
I created a Flow , to update properties of the file uploaded to sharepoint with Iten ID mapped to a Number column "Numlist" in sharepoint,
When i upload the document to sharepoint , the doc gets uploaded to sharepoint with metadata and updates the Modified By field with the userid of the person who uploaded the document,
When an item(FILE) is added to sharepoint , the flow is trigerred , a doc version 3 is created and Modified By column is updated with my user id who created the flow . This is not acceptable for the audit as the modified by column should be updated with the persons ID who actually uploaded the doc , how do i resolve this issue,
Sample doc version history of doc uploaded
Ver 3 - shows my id , as the flow triggered to create an ID in Numlist. I still want to keep this flow , but dont want my id on Modified By column, but want RapportDocMgmtDev id in the Modified By column for the latest version.
My Flow
Please Advice if anyone has any ideas to resolve this.
Thanks & Regards

Hi @bsoleti ,
There is no resolution to this - if you want to trigger a Flow from "When an item is created or modified", then the "person" performing the action is the Flow owner (as you have noted). By design, it does not look at (or care) who created the document or modified it last and there is no action currently in Power Automate to facilitate changing from the Flow owner.
It has been logged as an idea here - you might vote for it to get it up the rankings.
