Need help in form

Hi,

I have created a form to update my SharePoint list. the list would only contain one/user.

i want the following things to happen ( trying to do it in one screen)

1. If the user is using the app/form for the 1st time, the form mode should be new( it would be only one time)

2. Once the user has submitted the form, he should be able to see what he submitted whenever he opens the app

3. If he wants to update the form, he should have option to do it.

the logic I am trying to implement.

if we have data pertaining to the user is in SharePoint (with help of Gallery), display the form in edit mode.

but I am not able to find the logic of how to open the form in a new mode if we don't have done have data fo user in sharepoint

Set the form to be in Edit mode.

Then set the Item property to the following:

   Coalesce(LookUp(yourDataList, 'Created By'.Email=User().Email), Defaults(yourDataList))

This should give you the functionality you want.

I hope this is helpful for you.

OnStart of the App have variable;
Set(varUser,User())

Then in the Display Mode;
If(IsBlank(LookUp (Datasource, UserColumn= varUser.Email, EntryColumn),DisplayMode.View,DisplayMode.Edit)
