Need help to SortByColumns with Search Text Box and Filter

Hello,

I have a PowerApps form with a search box at top of the screen and a gallery.  This works properly - when the search term is changed the items in the gallery update.  Items of gallery are set to:

SortByColumns(Search([@'[dbo].[tablename]'], TextSearchBox1.Text, "fieldName1","fieldName2"),"fieldName1",If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending))

What I need assistance with is, now we also need to add a toggle filter.  So, need both the search and sorting to work and need the toggle filters to work.

i.e. Filter where fieldCheck1 = tglFieldCheck1.Value && fieldCheck2 = tglFieldCheck2.Value.

Not sure how to add to the SortByColumns statement above.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi @lesotho_kid ,

Add it around the data source as below

SortByColumns(
   Search(
      Filter(
         [@'[dbo].[tablename]'],
         fieldCheck1 = tglFieldCheck1.Value &&
         fieldCheck2 = tglFieldCheck2.Value
      ),
      TextSearchBox1.Text,
      "fieldName1",
      "fieldName2"
   ),
   "fieldName1",
   If(
      SortDescending1,
      Descending,
      Ascending
   )
)
