Nested Gallery Not Populating Form

I have created a calendar with a nested gallery to display project launch dates. The projects are populating as expected.

The problem I am having is when I click a project on the calendar to display the details in the connected form, nothing happens. The form is not populating with the project details.

I believe I have everything arranged properly and I created a variable to make sure the project is being registered when selected and it is.

The only problem is when I click the nested gallery in the calendar to display the details in an attached form, nothing happens:(

What the heck am I missing? This should be pretty straight forward no?

Thank you!

Martin

@Anonymous

Given the info you've supplied I have an idea.

Put this code in the OnVisible property of your screen

Set(currentProject, Blank())

Then use this code in the OnSelect property of your nested gallery

Set(currentProject, ThisItem.ID)

Finally, put this code in the Item property of your form

LookUp(your_datasource_name, ID = currentProject)

@Anonymous

If you want an action to occur when the user clicks on a control that is defined in the OnSelect property.  What code have you used in the OnSelect property for the nested gallery?

I have Select(Parent) for the OnSelect in the nested gallery.

@Anonymous

OK, then what code do you have in the OnSelect property of the parent control?

My apologies, the OnSelect for both Galleries is currently set to false. (I gave you the OnSelect for the Label)

What should be there?

Thank you!

@Anonymous

OK, where is the connected form?  Is it on another screen?

It is on the same screen as the calendar and nested gallery.
