New & Edit Button not working in Modern View

Hey everyone,

A lot of our SharePoint lists have stopped working suddenly. The New and Edit buttons basically do nothing when clicked.

What they have in common is they are a power app form. Oddly, the buttons work without issue if I manually type the URL in the browser or switch to classic mode.

It's also not all power app forms, only the ones that have a sql connection, when I check the SQL connection they do show as connected though. I am stumped and even Microsoft can't figure it out. Has anybody seen this before?

We are seeing this one of our forms and haven't been able to figure it out. I was thinking it had to do with the list or a change made to the form because none of our other custom forms are having this issue. Now that I see your post I am thinking it has something to do with the lastest PowerApps release but I can't reproduce the issue on a form. @WC-KSTILL , have you figured anything out?

I have been at this for two days going nuts... Haven't found anything out. I notice that the broken forms I can't do the customize powerapps from the list, only from the list settings. I refreshed all connections etc. If you find out anything please post here, I will post any updates I find.

By "the broken forms I can't do the customize powerapps from the list, only from the list settings", did you mean that you cannot click on the Customize forms button here?

Please take a screenshot of how this button looks like if possible. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.

Hi @v-monli-msft I have the same issue, Edit and New button stopped working on all my custom forms . And I don't see the Customize Form option on the PowerApps, any idea what's going on?

That's exacty what I was talking about. Any forms I can see that - I can load - any that I can't - I can't load and I must access it a different method.

Microsoft did some sort of update, which broke it, they did another that fixed it- Our Buttons started working again. But then they broke something else. Any forms with Choice fields where messed up. We had to copy the data and then re-paste it.. weird but it worked. Then saved.

However, today they stopped working AGAIN... New and Edit buttons no longer work.

What  you mean copy data? did you had to make a new form? or copy all of your entries?

Do you have any idea if Microsoft is working on fixing this?

So, after the buttons "started working" again... anything with a CHOICE field like this didn't work:

The fix was to load the form in powerapps, CUT AND REPASTE like this:

However, today it the new and edit bottons stopped working again. No idea if Microsoft is working on the issue as we speak but we did make them aware agian. This is highly annoying. We have users switching to Classic Mode and that works for now.

I am having the same issue

I've republished, reverted to the sharepoint default and then republished, Checked for errors (none).

I've had to revert to the less than ideal sharepoint default to allow users to work.

It appears to be a relatively common issue going from the number of different posts over the last few days. Likely an issue with the latest update.

I will include this comment in all that are relevant in the hope that microsoft acknowledge and advise of fix.
