New app with two Dataverse tables - Relationship?

Hi!
I am about to create an app with two main Dataverse tables:

  1. Different types of oil.
  2. Locations where one uses oil

It will be a canvas app with the following functionality:

  • Information about the oil.
    • With possibility to see which locations the oil is used for.
  • Information about the different locations.
    • With possibility to see which oil is used for this location.

What is the best way to connect oils and locations? I am not very familiar with realtionships and lookups.

One oil can be used in several places, but theres is only one oil for each location.

Cheers.

You need to create a one to many relationship between the oil and location tables.

In the Oil table, I created a lookup to Location (many to one).

In PowerApps, when adding this column to a form for "Oils", I get the choice between the different locations, but are only able to choose one. Why is this? Why am I not able to choose multiple locations to add this oil for?

When adding this lookup in a form for locations, there is an error and the Items consist of only: Choices(_).

Is it not possible to edit oil type from the location form, using this method?
