New to PA

I am looking to create an app that has input ability and then a "send" button to push it out to Excel or SharePoint for collection.

The way I have it set up now, it pushes it out to my destination when I refresh but the input remains in my app.  Obviously I don't want the running "totals" to remain in the app.

Any thoughts?

Re: New to PA

Hi@buteaur,

Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to save data to Excel/SharePoint and reset the App?

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario, is the Excel/SharePoint has the same data structure to your app?

I choose to create an App from Excel/SharePoint data which makes the App have the same data structure to the data source.

If you use SubmitForm(), please try the following workaround.

001.png

1/ Create an App from data(Excel/SharePoint), you will get 3 screens: BrowseScreen with BrowseGallery1, DetailScreen with DisplayForm1, EditScreen with EditForm1.

2/ Set the OnSuccess property of the EditForm1 as below:

NewForm(EditForm1)

After this, once you submit the form successfully, you will reset the EditForm1 where all the entries will be clear.

Note: If you use Patch() function, you just need to add a reset button and set the same formula to the OnSelect property.

Please check the Gif.

Hi @buteaur

I would like to help but I don't understand your issue.  Do you already have a SharePoint list or Excel table that you have configured to accept the data?
