I am learning about power apps and this is the second time I have some accross this issue, I searched the forums too so I wonder why this issue is occuring. I can see the
In task 3 it says "select Class Solution" under Solutions then select scout report. For me there is no Class Solution or scout reports.
I am not in the default environment and I have followed the instructions clearly.
Did I miss an exercise where this information is created?
I have attached a screenshot of the solutions available to me
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi @Mazer ,
The class solution in the doc is not a system solution.
It will not generate automatically.
You need to create a solution firstly and then choose it like your task2 mentioned.
Please note that: If you care about the customization prefix, make sure that you are working in an unmanaged solution where the customization prefix is the one you want for this web resource.
Here's another doc about how to build an HTML web resource for your reference:
Thank you for your response. I went ahead and created the solution and the report entity and was able to follow the solutions until task 3 point 18. Where upon I had to create the Scout Zone app, upon opening the app I get an error below.
The requested record was not found or you do not have sufficient permissions to view it.
Hi @Mazer ,
I've made a test but not met the same problem like your description.
Here are similar issues, maybe you could refer this:
I am also trying to complete the "Extending the Power Platform user experience Model Driven apps" learing path and I am running into the same problem. The "Class Solution" does not exist and I have no "Scout Report". Both of these items are refferenced througout the exercises without any mention of thier origin. Unfortunately, the suggestions in the thread are not helpful. I cannot complete these exercises as-is. I have searched the community forums and the internet to no avail.
