No store data from the lookup "picked item" after using Depend on for filter items in PowerApp

Hello,

I created a list in SharePoint to collect all user requests. I customized a lookup for subtype items that relies on another dropdown choice.

for example:

Car brands --> Nissan, Chevrolet, etc.

Car Type (LookUp) --> if Nissan --> Altima , Maxuma, etc.

--> if Chevrolet --> MALIBU, SPARK, etc.

my issue is in the powerApp, when use "depend on", the filtration is working fine but not store the value in the main list.

I need your help in how I can store the selected item in the main list that its data in a different list.
when I use depend on --> Filter('Subtype', DType.Value = DataCardValue11.Selected.Value)

The reason for using the lookup with a different list is that there is another Dropdown rely on this SubType.

Many Thanks.

As per my understanding, you are facing issue while patching the data into SharePoint list I Believe. If yes, then in Patch function for CarType LookUp field you can use " CarType: DataCardValue11.Selected".
If your issue is with populating data into CarType dropdown column in PowerApps, then you can use "Filter('Subtype', DType.Value = DataCardValue11.Selected.Value)" in Items property of the dropdown.

@bakrmili ,

You can use CarType: DataCardValue11.Selected, which will be a record patched to SharePoint list.

Please can you explain to me where I can add this CarType: DataCardValue11.Selected,

is it in Default, isn't it?
