Non ordered lookup dropdown list

I already created a post on this subject. This one should be clearer.

I've created a first sharepoint list called example which I ordered by alphabethical order.

I have another sharepoint list lookup, containing a lookup control of example :

When I try to modify the lookup field in sharepoint, the dropdown list is correctly displayed :

Now when I create an app from Lookup, the dropdown doesn't displays correctly (not in alphabethical order) :

and the data field of the DataCardValue doesn't contain any item field that could be ordered (as suggested in answer to my previous post).

Any idea on how I could solve this issue and get the dropdown list in my app ordered?

Hi shugs,

Thanks for your feedback.

I test this issue on my side according to your detailed screenshots.

I create a SharePoint list Locations, it looks like below:

Then create another list looks up to the Title column in Locations list. The same with you, on SharePoint list, the dropdown list is alphabetically displayed.

Then create an app based on Assets list, I found that the dropdown items display same as the order of the original list(here is Locations list) but not of alphabetical order like when modifying the Lookup field in SharePoint list(here is Assets list).

It seems that currently there is no automatic way to customize the order of the Dropdown items. I would suggest you submit an idea at PowerApps Ideas Forum, I will also collect and report this feature from my side. Thanks for your understanding.
