Since your gallery is empty did you check the Items property of the gallery to make sure that is correct?
What is the formula in the Items property and how many rows is on the Excel table data source?
It was a calculated cell in the excel sheet. However, I have removed that row and tried again and still doesn't work.
15 colum by 9 rows
What is the formula in the Items property of the Gallery?
SortByColumns(Search(WellTestMain, TextSearchBox1.Text, "AA_x0020_Lease","A_x0020_Well","Backside_x0020_Pressure"), "AA_x0020_Lease", If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending))
Can you create a label on your screen (doesn't matter where) then add the formula CountRows(WellTestMain) to the text property of the label. This should tell you how many rows it is seeing in the data source. If that doesn't match how many rows you are seeing on the table in Excel then there is probably an issue with the table or you need to refresh the data source in PowerApps.
