Office 365 User Search and Select

So i've spent the best part of the day trying to do this with no luck so I'm back to ask the professionals again!

Please have alook below and point me in the right direction is possible! Smiley Frustrated

In a nutshell I need the image below to allow the app user to search (nomineesearch_1) through office 365 users which will be displayed via the gallery (nomineegal_1). When they start to type, the gallery should filter the names down and when they (onselect) the filtered name it should move to another gallery (TextInput1) entry as only the name with an icon to delete it incase the user has made a mistake.

When the user chooses the name the search box should also reset ready for another search "if needed"

Solution.png

When the user presses Continue (continuebutton1_1) the name collected from text input one need to be displayed on the next page as a list.

I'd like it work very closely to the New Screen/People page but I cant seem to even connect my gallery to the data source like it does with this page so this is for anyone looking for a real challenge that can break it down into an easy to digest guide for me.

If you've come this far and can help. Thanks in advance! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Office 365 User Search and Select

Hi @Courtney ,

On your TextInput1 (Gallery with collected Names):

Set Items to:

SelectedNames

Add a label to this gallery and set the Text to:

ThisItem.Names

Add the eraser Icon here and set the OnSelect Property to:
Remove(SelectedNames, ThisItem)

On nomineegal_1:

Set Items to:

If(IsBlank(TextInput1.Text), Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:""}),If(Not(IsBlank(Trim(TextInput1.Text))),Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:Trim(TextInput1.Text)})))

Add Label here set the Text to:
ThisItem.DisplayName

Set OnSelect Property to:

Set(SelectedName, ThisItem.DisplayName);
Collect(SelectedNames, {Names:ThisItem.DisplayName})

For you continuebutton1_1: just add Navigate(to the next screen)

On the next screen just set the Item of the Gallery (list) to the collection SelectedNames.

Please check this video.

Thanks,
K-A-R-L
