Office365Outlook: Name Isn't Valid. The Identifier isn't recognized.

I'm brand new to PowerApps.  I'm trying to do a little proof of concept that just sends a meeting invite.  Here are the steps I have taken:

  1. Create a new "forms" app
  2. click "Connect to data" on the form below where it says "This form isn't connected to any data yet"
  3. Search for Outlook
  4. Select "Office 365 Outlook"
  5. Click the button on the right to add the source
  6. The source shows up on the left as Office365Outlook but nothing else happens.
  7. I click the form and click the dropdown for Data Source
  8. I select "Office365Outlook"
  9. A little error shows up in the top left with two options
    1. Edit in the formula bar
    2. Get help for this error
  10. Edit in the formula bar shows "Office365Outlook"
  11. Full Error is below

Hi @FusionScott

Office365Outlook itself can't be a data source. Pls, see the below example. And also this operation returns the table.

So you may need a gallery to display all items based on the filter. And based on the selection you need the display the specific item on the form.

Screen 1: display gallery that displays all my emails or some other operation

Screen 2: Display item

Interesting. Why doesn't the UI automatically enumerate possible datasources (like GetEmailsv3)?

I'm so confused by this platform. It's 100% GUI, no code, but then this happens.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
