Here is my situation.
I've created a way to make a folder using the power apps form.
In my form, I click a submit button that does the following:
when my success screen loads I fire off a timer that loads a check mark and some text.
When the timer durration has finished it does the following:
The issue is that the form I use to creat the folder also has some other metadata that I want loaded as well and I cant seem to figure that out.
Any help is always appreciated.
After the 'Create Folder' add in another step -- 'Update file properties'
For the Id you can select the ItemId of your new folder from the Dynamic content and then add the meta data in there.
That doesnt work because when the workflow gets to the update file properties the folder isnt created yet.
The form holds the metadata and then passes the title when it creates the folder but doesnt pass the metadata values.
My hope was that there is a function that I could call after my folder create function or something similar like I did in Power Automate.
Thanks for your input!
It would have to be after the 'Create new folder' because there is no place to save that meta data until the folder has been created. You can refer to the same dynamic content down on the Update file properties that you have available at the 'Create Folder'.
I think I am not understanding what you are needing then. Best of luck!
