Re: One Drive and Images

Same problem here...It still works a few days ago.

My situtation:

1. Jpeg and mp4 files in one drive (also tested for sharepoint group files)

- Share: everyone can edit/view

2. Environment: tested in IE, firefox, chrome

image control link: share link from one drive

video control link: share link from one drive

Image / video could be shown for authorized user. (Worked recently)

Image / video could only be shown for the one who created the file. Authorized user can view the picture when pressing the link directly, but not in powerapp. (Only a blank window shown)

I also recognized this problem today since my supervior used the same program but no image display, even when I created an image in a group folder (which he is the folder owner, I am just a member who can edit). Same, he can view the image by clicking the link but no from the image control.

P.s. link from internet still works fine

P.s.2 Frequently found web authorization error even when I clear all cookies, etc. , not sure if this is a related issue.

Re: One Drive and Images

Any updates regarding this error?

I've got a pretty similar problem.

Images from OneDrive for Business can be loaded using the account owning the OneDrive for business shared folder running as an app, but also in the designer view (web).

If I use another user, which was assigned permission in One Drive For Business, images are not loaded. The user has access to the image file when clicking on the sharing link.

I also tried the solution suggested in the following guide:

But it makes no difference if I use the following value in the image cell:

It is left blank.

Edit 2:

It finally works now!

Is it possible that this is some sort of caching / write-lock error related to the excel file source-file

Re: One Drive and Images

HuperzD, how did you work it out? I have tried ( before, it works for me but not for others since they dont have the same path as mine in the one drive.

Re: One Drive and Images

Display any image stored anywhere in SharePoint Online, rendered within an app in any resolution / quality as you so desire and highly compressed in size vs. the original image actually stored in SharePoint.

38 MB Image

  • Thumbnail as small as: 3-5 Kb

  • 2500px rendition: 200 Kb
