Onenote GetPageContent Failed

Hi Everyone,

I have been trying to build an app to email a specific page content of a Onenote page to an email list.

I am currently stuck at a GetPageContent fail:

andrewhei_0-1597025459766.png

Code I am using:

ForAll('MyList'.Title,Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(Title,"New Product: "&lbPages.Selected.title,'OneNote(Business)'.GetPageContent(ddNoteBook.Selected.Key,ddSection.Selected.pagesUrl,lbPages.Selected.id),{Importance:"Normal"}))

Where lbPages, ddNoteBook and ddSection are list box and drop down list to specify the parameters of the GetPageContent.

When I finish the code there was no error marks, but when I push the send button, the above error occurs. Help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Andrew

Re: Onenote GetPageContent Failed

GetPageContent() returns string type.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/onenote/#get-page-content

Can you try to set result of GetPageContent() to variable and configure your json content?

Re: Onenote GetPageContent Failed

Hi Andrew,

I tried GetPageContent() and got same error message with you.

According to network trace on developer tool, the web request returns blob data that contains html content of OneNote page, not pure string.

I recommend you to send support request to Microsoft. Behavior or Docs looks should be fix.

Re: Onenote GetPageContent Failed

Hi Kojisaki,

Thank you for your reply.

I am quite new to PowerApps. I understand that GetPageContent() returns a string value. Can you explain a bit more about setting the result to a variable? Not sure what that means 🙂

Thank you!
