Only user who submitted the form can edit

Hi,

I've created two forms through share point list, One is to create a request and second is to modify the request.

I only want the user to modify their own forms. I tired changing the permission through SharePoint advanced list and it works butThe image below shows my list settings. But with this the other admins can't make changes to the request.

How can I accomplish it?

I want certain admins to make changes to the form that somebody else created. How can I accomplish it?

Re: Only user who submitted the form can edit

The only way to do that is to set the list items so everyone can edit them and then change the actual permissions on the list items themselves to limit access.  Here's an article that describes how to do it with Flow.

Re: Only user who submitted the form can edit

Hi @kbansal ,

I suggest you set your form's Mode based on different users.

Only the certain admins and the item's creator could edit this item, while others could only view this item.

Try this formula: (set the edit form's DefaultMode)

If(User().Email in ["admin1 emial address","admin2 emial address","admin3 emial address",...]||
  ThisItem.'Created By'.Email=User().Email,
  FormMode.Edit,
  FormMode.View)

Then, only users meet the requirements could edit this record.

@v-yutliu-msft That will work inside the PowerApp, but won't change the security of the list itself.  Anyone who goes directly to the list will be able to see and edit everything.
