Oracle rowid

Hi, hopefully this is a simple question (I know, they never are), but here goes:


Oracle Database tables always have a unique ROWID value It is "hidden" in some way, but you can SELECT it by name. Any ideas on how I might retrieve it so that I can position database connector activities on the right record?


Our Oracle E-Business Suite application owns the data, so I cannot simply add an ID field to the table that would be exposed.

Do you want to get a record with unique ROWID value?

Could you tell me the field's data type that has ROWID value?
I assume it is text type.
