PAGE: Please Fix DataCard Ordering in Form Controls

Hello,

Just a heads up... i've LITERALLY SPENT 4, non-refundable hours of my life today ordering and REORDING DataCards in this darn form because they like to MAGICALLY ORDER THEMSELVES FOR NO REASON.

Truly bananas. Please get the Y-DataCard-Property-Working so we can LOCK it in place.

Thank you

Hi @ericonline ,

Where did you have this issue? On custom form in SharePoint site or in a standalone app? I cannot reproduce your issue. Once I ordered the data cards inside the form and save the app, next time I play the app, the order is correctly shown.

Please share more details and take a screenshot of your issue if possible.

Regards,

Mona

Hi @v-monli-msft ,
To reproduce:

  • Create an app
  • Add a form control
  • Connect to a Sharepoint list with 50-60 fields
  • Change the order of the DataCards using the Y Property
  • Control the visibility of certain DataCards using variables (ex: If(varTest, true, false) to show/hide certain DataCards)
  • Edit the cards by adding / removing / editing controls (Remove the default Textbox, add Dropdowns, etc.)
  • Watch as the Y Property of the DataCards changes "back" to its original order (or something).

Thank you

Thank you for reporting the issue.  We will investigate this issue and report back.
