PATCH TO GALLERY NOT WORKING

Hello Community,

Having a difficult with Patching in this particular situation.

This is a Gallery that displays the first 3 columns of data (non-editable) from an existing record in SharePoint.

Need to only update 2 columns, Created Date and Toggle value of the existing record.

Awarded Pic.png

Tried using the below for button OnSelect, but to no avail

Patch(PALT,
{Contract: Contract.Value,
Description: Descript.Value

Awarded: Awarded.Value

CreatedDate: DatePicker2.SelectedDate, '3Days': Toggle1.Value})

Again, the only columns to update is CreatedDate (DatePicker2) and Entered w/i 3 days (Toggle1).

Any assistance with the Submit Button formula would be great.  Thanks,

hi @chudson002

It Looks like your patch misses an identifier to which record it should update.

Patch(PALT, something here?
{Contract: Contract.Value,
Description: Descript.Value

Awarded: Awarded.Value

CreatedDate: DatePicker2.SelectedDate, '3Days': Toggle1.Value})

hope it helps

Since it is patching an existing record, should I call in the ID of the record?

Will try that and see what happens.  Thanks for the extra set of eyes.

Use Patch(datasource,Lookup(datasource,ID=yourgalleryname.Selected.ID),{... if the button is outside the gallery.  If the button is inside the gallery you can use Patch(datasource, ThisItem, {... })

The submit button is outside the gallery.....It errors out on the " = " sign.

Please advise.
