PDF viewer stop working

Hi everyone...In my app we use PDF viewer. It worked well for several days. But, suddenly it didn't work anymore. Even when I tried to create new PDF viewer, it didn't show even the sample pdf. Even when I tried create new apps, PDF viewer didn't show the sample pdf. I tried in several devices, yet the result is still the same. Please let me know what was wrong and how to fix it. Thank you

Admin_CLDM, I solved the issue by reverting my app to previous Power Apps release version. The problematic version is 3.21083.28 for me. I revert back to 3.21074.37 and it works!

 

My app is a app linking to SharePoint. The way to go for revert version is:

1. List settings

2. Form settings

3. See version and usage

4. Find the previous version

5. Restore the previous version

6. Publish it.

Yes, same thing happen to my apps. It has been working well for over a year and it stops working this morning.

I have the same problem and I use this function in multiple apps. Is there another solution than revert the version? Because that is not a possibility for me

This may work for Apps which already have a PDF Viewer inside.

If you want to add a PDF Viewer to an existing or new app this is not working...😪..

 

Hopefully it is a bug and it will be fixed with next release...

I got a workaround from Microsoft as below. It allows me to publish changes with desirable authoring version. So the apps can keep improving while PDF viewer continue to work for now until it is fixed for new release.

  • Go to “Authoring version” of your app (It should be under Account section > Support).
  • Change the Authoring version to '3.21082.34' or '3.21081.49'
