Passing collection values from a Gallery to a combobox

I've been able to capture the column field data I need using the onselect gallery control Collect(Collection1, {columnname: Gallery1.Selected.columnname}).  I have a combo box set to the collection1 default selecteditems set to Filter(Collection1, columnname=Gallery1.SelectedItems.columnname). My intentions is to be able to see these selections in the combobox when selected. Then write as new form to a seperate sharepoint  list when saved.

Re: Passing collection values from a Gallery to a combobox

Hi @mperez84 ,

Do you want to display the gallery selected items as the combo box defaultselecteditems?

Could you tell me

1)the Items property of the combo box?

2)the column's data type  that you use in the formula?

Please notice that there's no property like "Gallery1.SelectedItems".There's only "Gallery1.Selected".

I assume that the combo box's Items is the table that you display in the gallery and the field that you use in the formula is text type.

I've made a similar test for your reference:

1)set the gallery's Items: fruit11111   (my list name)

2)the gallery's onselect property:

//Title is text type, Title is a field in my list

3)set the combo box's Items: fruit11111   (my list name)

4)set the combo box's DefaultSelectedItems:

Filter(fruit11111,Title in a.title)

Then the gallery selected items will display as the combo box's defaultselecteditems.

The items property is set to collection1.

When I set the defaultselecteditems to Filter(Collection1, title in Collection1.title) The items do appear but I have to select the dropdown to display them. How do I get them to show on selection.
