Patch Notification (Error) - Thumbnail

I am patching a SharePoint List from a collection and am getting the following error.
Thumbnail: The specified column is read-only and can't be modified (see photo).  The information IS patching the SharePoint list.  But the error is going to be confusing to users.  Any idea why this is occurring? image.png

Re: Patch Notification (Error) - Thumbnail

@NigelP I had another, similar issue with a different SharePoint list.

The only way I was able to resolve was creating a new list.  I will be doing the same for this one.

Thanks!

Re: Patch Notification (Error) - Thumbnail

@NigelP Thank you for your quick reply.  When you say list settings - are you referring to the SharePoint List?  If so, see below.

Re: Patch Notification (Error) - Thumbnail

HI @tianaranjo

1)   I see no ""Thumbnail" site column in your list.

2)   Also when you view the list, check the fields to the right hand side of the view and see if a field called "ThumbNail" has crept in.  It might be a hidden field.

3)  Does your Patch Statement reference a "Thumbnail" field ?  If so remove the reference to the "Thumbnail" field.

If all of the above fails - Try recreating the list with another name and see if you have the same problem.

It might be that you have a corrupt list.

Regards

Nigel
