Patch a list box control to a SharePoint Online list

Hello,

I'm attempting to use the Patch function to save data from a List box control in PowerApps to a Checkbox (with multiple selections) column in a SharePoint Online list. So far I have not been successful.

Here's a section formula in the Patch function

trip: {Value: TripListBox_1.Selected.Value, '@odata.type': "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedReference"}

trip is the name of the SharePoint Online column.

TripListBox_1 is the control name.

Here's a screenshot of the SharePoint list's column

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Re: Patch a list box control to a SharePoint Online list

Hi darogael,

It is currently a known limitation for SharePoint list, PowerApps doesn't support columns that support multiple values or selections.

Please check this documentation at here:
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/connection-sharepoint-online/

I have seen similar request at PowerApps Ideas Forum, please consider to vote the idea at here:

The status of the idea has been changed to Planned. I guess it will be coming in the future releases.

Best regards,
