Patch data in another list based on current list using If statement

I have a list with fields Time Accepted, Time Delivered and Time Taken which takes the difference between the two fields. 

OnSelect the 'Done' button, I intend to capture data in another list that increments count under 'Completed on Time' column if Time Taken < Estimated Time

Note: Estimated Time is another field contained within the first list.

Anyone knows how to do this?

@Alois ,

As an experiment, create a new numeric field without spaces in the name (I never use spaces for many reasons), paste your current values into this (you can do this in a "bulk edit" SharePoint view) and see if you can update that one.

HI,

 

A process I use it to add a from that has the fields you want to update in the other table and set the default values to a lookup statement and when you select the button ad that form to the Submit statement. once all is wired up and working hide the form.

Hi @Alois ,

I think a simple Patch function is the key to your problem.

I’m not sure that I understood the structure of the “another list”. Is a single item list with multiple columns and you want to increment the value of ‘Completed on Time’ column ? Or do you have any criteria that can link the two lists ?

The below is a syntax guide only as you have not included a lot of information required to exactly code this. Also it is appreciated if any solution is completed on this forum as it is for the benefit of others in the future with similar issues

Hi All, to give a clearer picture, here are some additional information.

The above 'Time Accepted', 'Time Delivered', 'Time Taken' and 'Estimated Time' fields are tagged to a list call 'Assignment List'. Based on their values, I would like to set the following conditions:

If (Time Taken <= Estimated Time), increment count +1 of 'Completed on Time'
If (Time Taken > Estimated Time), increment count +1 of 'Completed Late'

Both 'Completed on Time' and 'Completed Late' columns are tagged to a separate list called 'Driver Score' as shown:

I have attempted this code in the OnSelect button:

If(Value(Overall_Assignment_List.Selected.'Time Taken') <= Value(Overall_Assignment_List.Selected.'Estimated Duration (mins)'), Patch(Driver_Score, Title_Column1=Username_Bar, {'Completed On Time': Value('Completed On Time_Column1'.Text)+1}))

However, there are syntax issues. Not sure how to fix this!

Assuming that your record identification syntax is correct, you need something like this

Thanks! The logic makes sense. However, I keep getting error for the following highlighted sections:

I have checked - they are named after the columns in Sharepoint. Column types are number. Am I missing something else here?

Something is a bit strange here - possibly field names - I just did a test here on some sample data I have as below

    TestFields,
    ID = Gallery13.Selected.ID,
    {NumberTest: NumberTest + 1}
)

It works like this

It's really odd. I have attempted to use the field names. For instance, the field name of 'Completed on Time' is 'CompletedonTime'. However, it still shows an error - 'Name isn't valid. Identifier isn't recognized'.

Definitely field issue - name but maybe field type - it it numeric?

Go to your SharePoint list field definition and hover over the relevant field. At the very bottom, you will see a string of characters, with the last bit being the original field name (when it was created) and you need to use this.
