PowerApps - Pen Input
It seems there is an issue with the Pen Input control on touch screen devices. Instead of being able to write freely with your finger or stylus, the pen now writes for a few milliseconds and stops - creating a bunch of short 'scratches' on the screen rather then linked up words.
Below is an example of what happens. You can only write for a split second before the ink runs dry and you have to start again. I have replicated on different devices (Android, Surface Book) and on different Office 365 tennants.

Everything works fine in PowerApps studio, the issue only appears when you publish the app and consume it on a tablet or mobile.
It may be a new bug as everything was working until Thursday or Friday 1 June 2018. I am more than happy to try suggestions if anyone has tips. Has anyone else noticed the issue, are other pen input Apps still working OK?

Hi all,
Could you please provide an update of when this will be resolved? My company gets paid for the service that is rendered according to customer verification. Providing updates and ensuring important bugs are worked out before releasing the update is sooo vital. At the very least fixing the bug in a timely fashion is better than a 2 week or more wait.

i have not gotten anything, just whomever has reponsded in this thread.
Thanks all for your patience - hear your frustration loud and clear. We have identified the problem and are testing the fix for this issue. I'll provide an update soon with more information about exactly when this is expected to roll out to all regions.

@emmac Hi Emma, have you decided to roll out to the Midwestern American region? We really need this to work. Do you all have a working patch for this? Thanks for keeping me up-to-date on this as it's very pertinent to the work that we do.
I heard from the MS team this morning that they have rolled out a fix. I republished my app in PowerApps, to PowerApps release 3.18063.33
I have tested and the Pen tool works for me on the Samsung Tablet, Surface Book and a Galaxy Note phone.
So it looks to me the issue is resolved thanks team.
Today I ran the test again and it worked perfectly, problem solved.
