People Picker filter not working in a sudden

Hello Team,

Please repro the issue with the following steps:

a. From any SharePoint online list, create a users&Groups column.

b. Go with customize forms in PowerApps.

c. Edit anything and Save.

d. Press F5 and you'll find people picker is not loading anydata with autofill.

e. Pulish the change to SharePoint, the same issue is happening with SharePoint forms (PowerApps) when you create an item or edit existing items.

f. This is reproduced with multiple SharePoint Online sites on my end.

This was working perfectly yesterday.

When you customize the form, please select the ComboBox control and ensure that the proper values are configured:

I have made a test on my side, and the issue is confirmed on my side. 

When customizing a form for a SP list using PowerApps, the Person or Group type column would be decorated as a Combo box control within the app.

Currently, the Combo box control which is bound to a Person or Group type column (of a SP list) could not be auto-populated with Person (or group) info within PowerApps.

This is reproduced as an issue with the newest version of PowerApps.

I can confirm that this is an issue in the current version of the PowerApps. We're working on a fix.

FYI. I worked this around temporiarly by changing the people picker from ComboBox to Lookup https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/customize-card

Thank you for sharing your solution. You can also try to replace by a DropDown control. The disadvantage is that those controls do not have specific "People" layouts to show pictures (Layout control) or subtitles (DropDown control).
