What is the best way to deal with a SharePoint People field, that is used to select an employee, but once that employee is no longer active and the list item needs to be edited and then that person that was selected, their account is disabled? I have a text field that captures that user the was initially selected. Should I disable the dropdown person field once the item has been saved?
