Performance on canvas using Sql server with on premises data gateway

Hello,

I'm developing a canvas app using canvas with SQL on premises data gateway with large set of data 2k+), and i am facing latency and performance drop on other users but not on my side. they have reported that the app is acting normal at first and then when they use it for more period of time it starts to act wrong, the app is fetching wrong data, and it became too slow.

I am on 16GB ram pc and i used the monitoring tools and task management on Firefox and chrome to see if there is something wrong on the app, and there is nothing alarming, the app is behaving normal.

Other users are on 5 to 8 GB ram pc on Firefox and they are reporting issues.

The problem is not your RAM or your pc.. It is realy the amount of data... My advice would be for you to make really good filters, only use what you really need and remove what you dont need.
Even if you dont use a certain screen or datasource, Pwoer Apps will still load it and that will afect your performance.
Try to filter the datasource, for example, if it is a time app where users insert their timers tou could show only the itens created by the user
