Permission

Hello!

 

Can anyone tell me how I can check for permission of CDS in an enviornment?

Go to the admin center.  Click on the environment.  Go to the Security tab and click on the Assign Security Roles button.  That will log you into Dynamics User Manager.  From there you can pick a user and check what roles are assigned to them.

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to check which permission of CDS do you own in current PowerApps environment?

Further, do you want to check this permission within a canvas app?

 

If you want to check which permission of CDS do you own in current PowerApps environment, please take a try with the following steps:

1. Go to PowerApps Admin Center

2. Within the Environments list, select your current Environment.

3. Select Security tab, then click "View the list of users in the environment" option.

4. Within the opened "Enabled Users" view form, select your own account, then click "MANAGE ROLES" option, then you would be able to see the permission assiged to you:6.JPG

Note: In order to take above steps, you must has been assiged a Environment Admin role to the corresponding Environment.

If you want to check the permission of CDS within a PowerApps app, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs.
