Photo collection - Collect distinct for each series

Greetings,

 

I am collecting all photos from a SP library OnStart.  When initializing the collection, I add a column to split the name(s) of the photos.  

ClearCollect(
    colPhotos2,
    AddColumns(
        Photos2, "ddName", First(Split(Name, "-").Result
)))

So, if the name of a photo in the library is:

2018_US1-Montana-Glacier10

The added column in the collection will be:

2018_US1

 

Say I have 10 photos for 2018_US1-Montana-Glacier# and 9 for 2017_BC1_Banff and another 15 for 2018_JP1_Tokyo# -- how can I collect only the first photo for every series?  Too complicate matters and really put a challenge out there, I would ideally like to collect the first photo in every series that is landscape layout rather than portrait.  At this time, there is nothing in my SP library to identify a photo as landscape/portrait.image.png

Looking for a solution still on this one.  I would like to collect the first photo for each 'series' within a group.
