Re: Populate SharePoint list Approver dropdown with Job Title VP from User Profile - SharePoint Online

Hi @v-xida-msft ,

I face a weird issue where all the profile which starts with alphabetical order A, can be seen in the Approver dropdown. It just shows 5 profiles in dropdown all starting with Alphabet A. I have some 200 profile with Job Title "Senior Associate" but showing only 5. If i use other filter criteria like "Vice President", it always returns empty. But there are 48 Vice Presidents. Any idea what could be the issue.

I used below formula to set Items property initially to atleast retrieve some results.

Filter(Office365Users.SearchUser(),JobTitle="Senior Associate").DisplayName

Re: Populate SharePoint list Approver dropdown with Job Title VP from User Profile - SharePoint Online

Hi @Kumar9024021 ,

Is the Approver a Choice type column or a Person type column in your SP List?

If the Approver field is a Person column, and you want to see all available user options when you click the Approver Person field ComboBox, please consider take a try with the following workaround:

Set the Items property of the Approver ComboBox to following:

       Office365Users.MyProfile().Department in JobTitle

Set the IsSearchable property of the Approver ComboBox to following:

Set the Update property of the Approver Data card which contains the Approver ComboBox in your Edit form to following:

      Claims: "i:0#.f|membership|" & Lower(Mail),
      DisplayName: DisplayName,
      Email: Mail,
      Department: "",

then configure the Approver ComboBox as Person layout as below:

Note: I assume that you have enabled "Allow multiple selections" option for the Approver field in your SP List.
