Populate a DropDown with Officeuser search based on job title

Is it possible to have the ITEMS of a dropdown be populated by running a filter on office365usersconnection, that would display Displayname(or email) of any user whose  jobtitle is say "General Manager"?

Re: Populate a DropDown with Officeuser search based on job title

Hi @JC75,

Yes, there is a way to make it work.

Please follow the steps below:
1. Add the Office 365 User connection,

2. Add a Dropdown control, sepcify the formula below under the items property:

Filter(Office365Users.SearchUser(),JobTitle="General Manager").Mail

This would display an Email List of the people which have the JobTitle configured with "General Manager".

If you would like to customize the search part, you could change it as below, where TextInput1.text is used to input the JobTitle:

Filter(Office365Users.SearchUser(),JobTitle=TextInput1.Text).Mail

For more information about Office 365 User connection, please check:

Re: Populate a DropDown with Officeuser search based on job title

Hi thanks for the help - however this doesnt seem to work -it accepts the syntax for the items field, but no values are populating in the dropdown? I've tried known jobtiltes for the value

Equally could this be modified once correctly working to be based on a startswith value - so "General Manager" would capture all jobtitles starting with that - which may be "General Manager this" "General Manager That"

Regards
