I have a dropdown.

I want to populate it with distinct Names from Column in a datatable1 ..== Column Name = SELLER.

Is this possible ?

Thanks

Hi @DAVIDPOWELL

The Distinct function takes a table and produces a single column table of unique values for a single column and renames that column "Result" . You would use Distinct() on the Items property of your datatable as the Items property of the dropdown control.

Distinct(yourformula,Seller)

It will automatically populate the dropdown with your seller's names. To sort that list alphabetically, you would use

Sort(Distinct(yourformula, Seller), Result, Ascending)

Notice that sort now uses Result instead of Seller once you have used the Distinct() function on tabular data.

Try something like this

Distinct(Filter(table,Title="abc"),Title)
