Populating drop down list with SharePoint Managed Metadata

Hi,

Is there a simple way to populate a drop down list in PowerApps with values from a SharePoint term set from managed metadata?  If so, what should be the Data setting for the drop down?  In my example, I tried to bind the drop down to a list column, where Metadata List is the name of my list and Source is the the metadata.  Not sure if that could work.

I have seen @paul_culmsee's series on this topic (http://www.cleverworkarounds.com/2017/10/14/powerapps-flow-and-managed-metadata-fields-part-1) , but am wondering if there's a simpler work-around.

That is an old article. Now there is the Choices() function. Check out this video for how I used it...
