I was just wondering, is it possible to print out the entire PowerApps form, even though the bottom is cut off / you have to scroll to reach the bottom?
Thanks in advance!
What did you mean by print out?
I've created a form using PowerApps that is connected to a SPO list. (See below for example):
Is it possible to print this form out? It would be nice to be able to do so, since there are people at our organization who would benefit from being able to print out these records.
I tried printing through the browser, but it just ended up cutting off the lower parts of the form and not printing the whole thing.
Thanks so much!
I am looking for a similar functionality and have not yet found a solution - One way may be to generate a PDF with the collected information and to then print that out.
However I am also looking for e.g. a button to say 'Print' and for this to trigger a printing action. This does not seem to be possible with PowerApps at the moment though... v-monli-msft please correct me if that is wrong! 🙂
Hmm. I read through that, but I'm not sure how I would actually do the formatting.
Do you know of any way to just pipe the form out to a PDF? Or even just an image of the whole form?
Yeah, formatting it all in HTML would be pretty time-consuming. As you mentioned, even with Infopath, it was possible to construct a print view. Does anyone know if there's any equivalent in PowerApps? It... seems like it would be pretty basic functionality, so I'm surprised that this feature wouldn't exist.
Worst case, does anyone know how to format the different fields in HTML? For example, if I have three fields (Name, Employee ID, and Start Date), how would I format that to output in HTML? I've looked through the various documentation that's out there that is supposed to help with HTML formatting, but I am sadly lost, when trying to understand it.
