I used to use AutoHeight to display, esp. long text (descriptions). At the same time, I also used the Autoheight of the TextBox1 to control the container of the TextBox1.
TextBox1.AutoHeight = true
DataCard1.Height = TextBox1.Height + 20 (I add 20 so that to create a small gap with the following DataCard2, so on and so forth).
I have about 30 Fields (Columns) and all the TextBoxes and Datacards are set as of above conditions.
It works excellently in PowerApps Studio, and I can see the height change when I navigate to the screen.
But, when the apps is in Cloud, it Stopped working. All the TextBoxes clamp together on top of the screen.
It happened in WIn 10, iPhone and Android Phone.
But, if I reduced the AutoHeight effect to only few of the boxes (I don;t really check each one, but 3-5 TextBoxes still work).
Would PG investigate if Excessive use of AutoHeight function will make the Apps collapses and if yes, what is the limitation.
Have a nice day.
NB: I have tested for about 10 times. All failed.

This is not a sollution.
The bug is still here and nested its egg.
Please exterminate it.

AutoHeight is not functioning properly when the Height property is referenced within a Gallery's Template Size.
My Gallery contains a Label with AutoHeight set to true. The Gallery's TemplateSize references the Label Height. When the Gallery Items are changed, the AutoHeight reference is not updated properly and the TemplateSize becomes 10.

I have the same bug in 2 different Flexible Height Gallery with HTML input with autoHeight (not the same datasource)
Is there any workaround available or are you working on a fix ?
@Charles-Antoine, I'm not sure if it will work in your case, but I added a
to the screen's OnVisible property, and that remedied most occurrences of this issue for me.
Hi @cweaver ,
Thank you for the tips. I just tried in different cases and I don't have the issue anymore.
If it comes back, I will try your workaround !
Agreed, I was just discussing yesterday that this is not solved at all. I have users all the time complaining about the issue, and even though we've so many uses cases for variable height galleries I have had to ban my devs from using them. @v-micsh-msft
